Current focus is Art with Purpose for good. Her Entertainment Action Art Themes and Wildlife Benefit Art reflect this spirit in provocative performances and installations.In this endeavor, she applies a lifetime of natural artistic abilities and experience in a range of media. Works available are large Action Art Paintings and Wildlife Art flying bird sculptures, drawings and large paintings. Art placements sought are as exhibits in galleries and entertainment venues; concert/theater props, event displays; and public venue displays in hospitality and commercial properties. Commissions accepted and selected works are for sale. Jonqui's California studio is based in Sonoma, via Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Live art performing began for Jonqui as chalk drawings for groups of friends and church programs while in elementary school. She began teaching art and design and production of stage sets when given her own art building as a high school senior. After attending California Arts Institute, she continued creating conceptual participatory installation art and live happening events in Venice, California. Her live art pieces were shown in popular Los Angels Melrose and Topanga galleries. As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Oakland, California, her clients included Harper and Row, Psychology Today Magazine, Book People Publishing Company, Atari,Dungeon Quest and fashion illustration for popular San Francisco designers. In San Francisco and Silicone Valley, Jonqui worked as a storyboard artist and marketer for animation television production companies; clients included Charles Schwab, Levi Strauss, Macy's. and Fox TV. Also, producing her own multimedia nightclub installation events and an art video magazine distributed to clubs and hotels. Now based in Sonoma, California, Jouqui is seen at Bay Area events, festivals, concerts and clubs. Her classes and demos have been at the Charles Schultz Museum, Santa Rosa Charter Art Middle School and Art Quest highschool, Boys and Girls Club, arts associations and community centers.
